Does anyone know anything about the movie Hellboy 2?  Whoever did the marketing for that is a genius.  I never see scary, sci-fi movies but the commercials make me want to check it out.  Is it a scary movie or is it a comedy?  I think Hellboy looks like Ted Danson.

Speaking of marketing, the commercial for the new TN lottery game is pretty good as well.  The whole “Fortunetics” idea is hilarious.  Doesn’t want to make me go out and get a lottery ticket, but it does make me laugh.  “Exactly 24 hours from now it will be tomorrow.”

Bad marketing: Walmart.  It looks like some people on the land use committee can be swayed by dollar signs.  Tuesday they were all against it.  Thursday it gets approved.  WTF?  Someone got some extra deposits in their off shore accounts this week.  Let’s not care about the residents of that area who are adamantly against a big box store, especially Walmart, we get free money if we vote yes!  Ugh.  Memphis government is so corrupt.  And the new logo looks like a butt.  Just sayin’.  Their new slogan should be “Walmart – screwing you like we do everyone else.”

Will someone please tell the dancing cowboy on the truck commercial to find that secluded island and go to it? I can’t watch him any more.  Doesn’t he know he is making a complete fool of himself?  He used to be some great Western actor and now he is hawking F150’s.  Sad.  He needs to invest in some Crest Whitestrips.  There is no reason anyone should have yellow teeth in this day and age.  Especially if you are an aging has been actor who sings and dances in car commercials.

One more thing: don’t leave your kids in the car while you run in somewhere.  They will die.  Take your heathens in the Walmart/bar/nudie bar with you.  They should not die because you are stupid.  Not even for 5 minutes should you leave kids or pets in a hot car.  It’s just stupid.  Don’t be stupid.
